One of Virginia’s most prominent developers, Rick Gregory has long been recognized for his successes in stimulating revitalization in often overlooked neighborhoods. He is nationally known for his expertise in tax credit financing and investment. During his legal career, Rick specialized in real estate structured finance, with a specialty in tax-exempt bond issuance for power plants and municipal infrastructure. He currently sits on the boards of Venture Richmond, Chamber RVA, and Virginia DHCD. Rick holds a degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture and a J.D. from the William & Mary Law School.

John has deep experience in the development of a variety of commercial and residential projects, ranging from affordable housing and high-end apartments to self-storage and Class A office. He orchestrates and oversees acquisitions, financing, entitlements, and legal structuring. John currently serves on the executive committee of Venture Richmond and the board of Manchester Alliance, and is involved in various civic initiatives around affordable housing and equitable development. Prior to Lynx, John spent several years as a consultant at the international strategy firm McKinsey & Company. He holds a degree in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Bernard manages development and execution of Lynx projects, relying on his experience in architecture, construction, and urban planning. Prior to joining Lynx, Bernard developed luxury condominiums, apartments, and affordable housing in New York City and gained significant experience in construction management with Clark Construction in Washington, DC. Bernard currently serves as board chairman of Storefront for Community Design, and on the board of the Partnership for Housing Affordability. He holds a degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and dual master’s degrees in real estate development and city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kelly Roberts leads the operations performance, strategic planning and financial success for Lynx Ventures' existing assets and assets in development. With over 20 years of experience in the property and asset management industry, Kelly has expertise in working with both local and national developers on site selection, market statistics, underwriting, design, construction management, brand management and property management. Her diverse real estate background enables her to be a valuable contributor throughout the development process, while her property management background helps guide the design process and operational success. Kelly studied at George Mason University and holds a CPM certificate.

Taking on the role of Asset Manager, Foster brings over 13 years of hands-on experience in both Marketing and Real Estate. Throughout his career, he’s honed the art of optimizing asset performance and increasing their value, all while ensuring smooth operations. Leveraging his extensive experience, he is poised to provide a uniquely insightful and client-centric perspective, elevating the Asset Management experience to new heights. Foster has bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Randolph-Macon College and currently holds his CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation as well as his Virginia REALTOR® license.
