Meet The Team
Bernard manages development and execution of Lynx projects, relying on his experience in architecture, construction, planning, and finance. Prior to joining Lynx, Bernard developed luxury condominiums, apartments, and affordable housing in New York City and gained significant experience in construction management with Clark Construction in Washington, DC. He holds a degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and dual master’s degrees in real estate development and city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
John has deep experience in the development of a variety of commercial and residential projects, ranging from affordable housing and high-end apartments to self-storage and Class A office. He orchestrates and oversees design, entitlements, financing, legal structures, construction, and asset management. Active civically, John currently sits on the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County task forces on Southside Revitalization. Prior to forming Lynx, John spent several years as a consultant at the international strategy firm McKinsey & Company. He holds a degree in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
One of Virginia’s most prominent developers, Rick Gregory has long been recognized for his successes in stimulating revitalization in often overlooked neighborhoods. He is nationally known for his expertise in tax credit financing and investment. A top real estate attorney, Rick was chairman of the Gregory Kaplan law firm and is a former partner in LeClairRyan. He holds a degree in urban planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture and a J.D. from the William & Mary Law School.
Kate (Robertson) Hosko
Kate manages new market and acquisition due diligence, leasing, tenant retention, and community engagement strategy. She also oversees Lynx’s corporate and property marketing, branding, and digital presence. Prior to joining Lynx, Kate led LF Driscoll’s marketing department in Philadelphia and was Hickok Cole Architects’ Director of Business Development and Marketing in Washington, DC. She holds a degree in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
